Am I a candidate for implant dentistry?

What are the benefits of dental implants over bridges or dentures?
Both bridges and dentures only replace the visible top portion of the tooth, and leave nothing in place of the root. This can cause a condition called osseointegration, in which the loss of the tooth causes the underlying bone to slowly dissolve and deteriorate. Dental implants are also more stable than dentures, and do not require modification of surrounding teeth, as bridges do.
Is the procedure for implant dentistry invasive?
It can be. Dr. Williams, however, specializes in a procedure for minimally invasive dental implants that require minimal pain and healing time than other procedures.
